Cute, cozy atmosphere, ok food
The quiche & fruit salad were very good, but my father's reuben was dry and the meat too thickly sliced. My husbands pulled pork was served COLD as if it had just come from the fridge and was too finely shredded...a mushy mess. Both the signature brownie & persimmon pudding were excellent. If this had been our first visit it would have been our last, but we know they can do better. Wonderful atmosphere, but just adequate service.
Where's the beef?! I had the turkey sandwich and added bacon. If there was 3 oz of turkey I'd eat my hat. Presentation was good, service was slow. The appeal is atmosphere. Definitely not worth the price on merits of food.
Abolute best place to eat in brown county. Greatest service in town and the best steak and cheeseburgers I've ever had. I highly recommend that you give this place a try.
Best place in the foot hills of brown county to have a wonderful meal. The waitress way so nice it made it feel like eating at home with family.
Must visit if near Nashville. Sweetest service and adorable country farmhouse. Healthy, nothing fried, homemade food. Love it!!
